Taylor Guitars • Our relationship with this great company dates back to our very first days as a business. Having checked out Taylor Guitars in the past, we were really impressed that an acoustic guitar could be made really playable and sound really good at the same time. Previously, acoustic guitars had a well deserved reputation for being tough to play. Taylor is the guitar company that changed that reputation forever.

Over Taylor's 30 year history, it is a company that does not rest on it's laurels. Taylor today continues to bring new thinking and creative use of technology to an instrument that is very rooted in tradition. In the words of Bob Taylor; "We started Taylor guitars with a simple philosophy of building - that guitars should sound good and be easy to play. To build them, we use our hands, we use machines, we use good materials, and above all we use our heads. Whatever it takes to make guitars that meet our objectives, we do it" It shows in the guitars Taylor makes. Flawless craftsmanship, superb playability and rich tone are Taylor hallmarks.

Taylor Guitars recently entered the electronics field with the Expression System pickup, which combines two body sensors affixed in carefully chosen spots under the top with a string sensor underneath the fretboard. The pickup system was designed in-house over a three-year period and it is paired with a preamp designed by audio pioneer Rupert Neve.
